Okay So I Am Not Good At Blogging.....

So I figured I will just do one blog for May and June summer....

Summer started off with Nick and I joining my boss who is a neonatologist in the march for dimes. We had a perfect day of weather and I loved seeing all of the success stories of the babies and their families along the path! It was even more fun to walk with some of the babies that my boss had worked with! One family had triplets!!

Next big event I went home to Michigan for a whole week! I had such a sweet time and was so pleased that so many big events happened in one week I was able to make them all! It started out with my Aunt Cindy's surprise birthday party, my nieces and nephews combined birthday party, then my mom putting on Clarkston High schools graduation, where one of my favorite people, my little cousin Chelsea graduated high school! Then Nick made it up Thursday to come join some festivities and pick up his lady!(I know I am one lucky girl to have him)! Finished the week with Chelseas graduation party and Claires first dance recital (I cried quite a bit this week)! On our journey home my Aunt Sharon made Nick and I a huge breakfast to send us off! All in all one amazing week!!

Lastly we found out that our family in Oakridge was moving to Lincoln Nebraska, my heart broke!
Weird I felt like my children were getting taken away from me. Kids we invested so much time in and kids our hearts really loved. Their mom Mary raises all seven by her self and now is pregnant with baby girl number eight! Their Dad went back to Sudan and so their mom wanted to move closer to family, she also is a singer and wanted to be where she can sing. They have been staying in a homeless shelter for a month and a half now, waiting to see if they can get housing and mom a job. The seven kids are all beautiful, driven, selfless, wonderful individuals. I have never met such well behaved kids! So the day before they left Nick and I went and picked up the girls, (the others wanted to be with their friends their last night). Nick took all us girls on a date, it started off with the light up bridge at Grey's Lake, caught the last two innings of the cubs game, watched fireworks and then home to watch "Tangled"! It was even more special because Saturday was Nicks birthday and the girls were there for that! We woke up and made Nick a big breakfast and let him open his presents! Such a wonderful good bye weekend! My prayer for them is they find a home, mom finds a job, the kids get into a school with good teachers, baby number 8 is healthy and the kids continue to call and text us all the time!!;-)

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer as much as we are being newlyweds, I hope the fun never ends!
