I have so many things to blog about I dont even know where to begin! Nick and I have finally put everything away at our house and are finally able to enjoy it..FINALLY! Having Nick move in and bring everything from his apartment and then me moving in after we got married and bringing everything of mine from Iowa and then my stuff that was still in Michigan and finding a place for it was a big task! On top of that our wedding gifts, we were so blessed by our family and friends there wasnt much we needed to get after the wedding! Here are a few pictures from our house, now we havent got to the decorating stage yet so bare with us!! Next few post I will be sharing my sweet time in Michigan in June and then New York and another great time in Michigan when I was able to welcome a new neice into our family!

Happy Easter

My family all lives in Michigan and Nick only has a Mom and Step Dad that live here in Des Moines. So we had our extended family over, Chadare, Nylat and Nywiech and Nydwell. We started of on Sat with a visit to the Easter bunny, then to dinner at Macaroni Grill and then to church! We made a quick stop at a friends house and then went home at eleven at night and decorated Easter eggs with Disney Princess stickers. The Easter bunny visited our house that night because we had four great little girls stay the night! He hid their Easter eggs and their Easter baskets were waiting on the kitchen table for them. They woke up and were so excited to see that the Easter bunny stopped their. They had asked me the night before if the Easter bunny comes to my house because he doesn’t stop at their house.
We had a wonderful Breakfast together and then while I cleaned up Nick and the girls colored our driveway with the Easter Egg sidewalk chalk!! My driveway looks so beautiful with all of the artwork! (When I was young I was never able to color our driveway because my dad didn’t like it….I think that is a form of child abuse…ha) We finished out our time with them by watching Shrek four, Nick and my favorite movie!
We hope you had a wonderful Easter as well! We miss all of our family and friends in Michigan, Tennessee, Florida and Greece!!

Wedding Pictures

Here are a few of my favorite wedding photos. I am having to decide which ones to hang up in my house which has not been an easy task!!

First Post

I started a technology in education class a few months ago and was required to blog. I had attempted to blog before when I was in Africa but was just too busy, (and I didn’t keep up with it) but I really enjoyed blogging for my class. A few girls from my church are die hard bloggers so I thought I would join in! I also thought that this could be useful for our families to keep tabs on us, considering all of mine is in Michigan and much of Nicks in Greece. So here I am attempting to blog, I may not be as good as Jill Trost but I am going to try real hard to keep up with her! A few thing I have been trying to do now that I am a married woman, is learning through the bible and other woman how to be a good wife. I am also learning how to be frugal with what we are given and so I am going to attempt couponing and sales! So this blog will be used for both updating family and friends about Nick and my life and sharing my journey of becoming a frugal woman!
Enjoy!

I am switching to Blogger
